Hood began his journey in filmmaking after graduating from film school, stepping directly into the professional industry where he quickly built his experience across a wide range of productions.
Early in his career, he worked extensively as part of international ENG crews, collaborating with global broadcasters such as BBC, Bloomberg, and Channel NewsAsia on various assignments around the world. These experiences gave him strong exposure to fast-paced production environments and sharpened his technical and problem-solving skills on set.
Over the years, Hud has contributed to numerous broadcast productions, including television dramas, variety programmes, and reality shows. His credits include working on major productions such as MasterChef Singapore, along with various large-scale broadcast projects that demanded both technical precision and adaptability.
Today, Hud leads the Camera Department at White Space Pictures, overseeing camera operations across a wide spectrum of projects ranging from television commercials and branded content to digital and social media productions. Known for his strong technical foundation and calm leadership on set, he plays a key role in ensuring every project meets the visual and technical standards expected by clients.

Outside of film sets, Hud is also a passionate musician. When he’s not travelling for work, this drummer is often touring and performing with his band — bringing the same rhythm, energy, and creativity from the stage into his work behind the camera.
