IKHWAN ROSLE
Ikhwan, better known as Ikay, is the Assistant Director at White Space Pictures and a seasoned film and television production professional with more than a decade of experience in Singapore’s broadcast industry.

After graduating from film school, Ikay entered the industry immediately and has been actively working in television and film production since 2011. Throughout his career, he has contributed to a wide range of productions including drama, variety shows, documentaries, branded content and digital programming for Mediacorp networks such as Suria, Vasantham and CNA.
Known on set for being firm, calm and highly proficient, Ikay plays an essential role as an Assistant Director, supporting directors in coordinating production workflow, managing crew operations, overseeing schedules and ensuring that filming runs efficiently. His ability to stay composed under pressure while keeping the production organised makes him a reliable presence on set.

Earlier in his career, Ikay worked as an Editor at Flashforward Films, where he was involved in the post-production of various Mediacorp programmes across multiple genres including drama, information-based programming and variety shows. This experience gave him a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing and editorial structure, allowing him to anticipate how scenes will come together in post-production while still on set.

In addition to his assistant directing work, Ikay continues to work actively as a Location Sound Recordist, a role he has held since 2011. He has recorded production sound for numerous television programmes, documentaries, commercials and branded content projects. Working closely with directors, cinematographers and producers, he ensures that high-quality audio is captured across a variety of shooting environments, from studio productions to fast-paced run-and-gun location shoots.

With a multidisciplinary background spanning assistant directing, editing, digital content production and professional location sound recording, Ikay brings both technical depth and practical experience to every production. His versatility, calm leadership and dedication to the craft make him a valued member of the White Space Pictures team.
