Khaifad’s journey in the industry is a true ground-up story. Graduated from Republic Polytechnic in 2009, with a diploma in New Media, he began igniting his first passion in still photography. While still in his tertiary years, he has shot multiple commissioned stills projects that were both published locally and internationally.
Upon graduation, he entered the production industry working behind the scenes as a production driver before steadily progressing through the ranks as a production assistant, junior grip, and later senior grip. Through years of hands-on experience on set, he developed a deep technical understanding of camera support, lighting, and on-set operations.
Over the years, Khaifad has worked on numerous productions both locally and overseas which includes television commercials, documentaries, reality shows, broadcast projects, corporate projects and television dramas including many TVCs produced under the White Space Pictures banner. His strong technical foundation and calm presence on set makes him a reliable crew member who plays a key role in executing the visual direction of each project.

A fitness enthusiast outside of work, Khaifad brings the same discipline and dedication into his craft. He is also known for guiding and mentoring junior crew members, sharing practical knowledge gained from years of working across different departments on set.

Today, Khaifad serves as a Cinematographer and Head of Lighting at White Space Pictures, leading the lighting department while supporting the visual execution of productions through his technical expertise and experience.
